The township’s annual financial audit is performed each year by the Board of Auditors or by a Certified Public Accountant appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) defines the chart of accounts and audit report format for all municipalities in Pennsylvania. Auditors also publish a condensed or summary audit report each year.
Board of Auditors Agendas and Minutes
The Board of Auditors meets on the first Tuesday in January to organize, set pay rates for working Supervisors, and, if no CPA firm has been appointed, to plan the annual audit of the previous year's accounts. These are public meetings.
