On Monday August 7, 2023 a vehicle drove through the road closed signs on Rausch Road in an active work zone. The vehicle was later found abandoned on the roadway 2 miles from the work zone. State troopers were contacted and were assisted by Fire Police Captain Ken “Sharky” Loiacono to track down the drivers. Two New York teenagers were cited with doubled work zone fines and a $300.00 towing fee.
